Dr Akshata Prabhu — Ms International World 2021
Dr Akshata Prabhu is Ms International World 2021 and an international pageant mentor, jury member and curator. With over two decades in modelling and film, she now prepares the women who represent India on the global stage.
She began modelling at eighteen, securing early campaigns including L’Oréal, Smirnoff, Canara Bank, LIC India and Mahananda Milk, with print advertisements appearing in the Times of India.
Cover appearances for Meri Saheli across 2002 and 2003, including the Diwali special edition, alongside continued print and campaign work.
She appeared in the 2004 remix video for Do Ghoont Mujhe Bhi Pila De, hosted three television shows including Kyun Kaisi Rahi, and featured on the covers of Griha Shobha and Chitralekha.

Appointed brand ambassador for Karishma Sarees.
She played the female lead in the Marathi feature film Paathavni.
A merit student who cleared her medical entrance as a rank holder, she chose dentistry over an MBBS seat so she could continue modelling alongside study, later specialising in Pediatric Dentistry.
She returned to competition and was crowned first runner-up at Mrs India World 2019, selected to represent India internationally.
Travelling from India through Germany and Mexico under Covid restrictions, she reached the United States and was crowned Ms International World 2021.
She walked New York Fashion Week for Charjean Couture, Supermodels Unlimited and Rojen Couture, and featured on a billboard on 34th Street at 7th Avenue.
Women prepared through The International Glamour Project won international titles including Mrs Universe India and Mrs World Universal India.
She co-hosted the opening carnival parade of the 56th International Film Festival of India, telecast nationally on Doordarshan.
Through TIGP she prepares and selects the women who represent India internationally, and sits on jury and selection panels.
