Dr Akshata Prabhu is an international pageant mentor, jury member and curator. Winner of Ms International World 2021, she founded The International Glamour Project, through which she prepares and selects the women who represent India internationally. She co-hosted the opening of the 56th International Film Festival of India.

A professional model and actor since 2002, she has walked New York Fashion Week for three designers and appeared in film, television and web series across two decades. In August 2021 she was crowned Ms International World in Florida, USA. She founded The International Glamour Project with Swaroop Puranik, running national competitions and preparing India’s international representatives. In November 2025 she co-hosted the opening carnival parade of the 56th International Film Festival of India in Panaji, telecast nationally on Doordarshan.
